Make It Last

Are you on Instagram yet? I am... kind of sporadically, but wanting to use it more, as the instant feedback is quite fun and exhilarating.

If you haven't joined the craze...I encourage you to do so. You can follow me here.

In a world where more and more photos seem to reside in a digital world, it's almost old-school and cool to put those images into a more permanent setting. Enter Artifact Uprising, which lets you upload your instagram images to form these soft sided books.

Perfect for Mother's Day. To recap a trip. Graduation gift. Blogfest. Father's Day. You get the idea.
I've got trips to Disney, Dallas and London coming up...so I think this will be the perfect way to capture the feel of the trips, even more than traditional photos. And, it's a lot easier to tote my i-phone than my big, clunky camera.

What's caught your eye lately? Can you see it in one of these little books?

What a wonderful idea for a gift! We're trying to post more to Intagram and with several trips coming up as well, we'll be sharpening our photo taking skills.

Those books are such a neat idea! I have to say I am barely feeling capable as a blogger and feel like a total "struggling newbie" when it comes to all this social media. I know nothing about Facebook, twitter, instagram,etc..don't have an account and frankly I don't know how it operates and feel overwhelmed by most of it....though apparently I am in the minority:) One day I will branch out and see what I am missing!

Enjoy your day, hope we dont' get too much snow and stay warm!! Thanks for your sweet comment on my post....

Those books are a great idea except for one little problem for me....I don't own a cell phone. Nope I don't can you believe it? I'm way out in the country, living in the middle of nowhere in the forest. No reception so what's the point? I wonder if I can get one of those books made up from digital pictures?

I am on Instragram and trying to be better about using it. I'll have to do this for spring break! When will you be in Dallas? Let's try to meet up?

I LOVE Instagram and those beautiful books are GENIUS.

It is quick and easy and I love seeing all the "behind the scenes things people post (and what my kids and their friends are up to!)

Can't wait to hear more about your trips!

Hi Debra,
Completely understand why you wouldn't have an I-phone where you live. Yes!! You absolutely can get these cool books made from digital photos...it's all on their website.

Great gift idea, Elizabeth...especially for my 20-something kids who live and breathe instagram. I enjoy looking at other people's instagrams but haven't really gotten on board with my own photos. Having said that, I am on my way to follow you now!

Stay warm...xoxoxo

These books are amazing and nothing will replace real photo books. But that being said, I DO love Instagram so much!

I LOVE instagram and love doing books like this! The first book I ever did was my own cookbook with pictures galore of family, friends and food! It was such fun! I need to start doing them more often because it's such an easy way to look at old pictures when you want to! Thanks for sharing this! I will definitely start following you!
