Art in the Family: The Geschardts
Artists leave me in awe. Many of you are artists. So, yes, you leave me in awe. To be able to create something from a blank canvas that delights, amuses and moves people is an amazing talent.
So to have two such people in one family, such as husband and wife, Danny & Reagan Geschardt, both talented artists....I'm doubly in awe.
Above and below are paintings by Reagan. Inspired by her travels and studies throughout Europe, her love of abstract expressionism and the natural environment that surrounds her, she creates paintings that are soulful interpretations of her daily experiences.
This talented couple has two young daughters, age 3 and 5, so they usually paint in the evenings. Danny listens to music while he paints in their unfinished basement. Reagan prefers the quiet of their studio.
Below is Danny's work...both individually and as used by interior designer, Beth Field in a client's home.

What a talented couple!! While all the works are beautiful, I really gravitate toward the stronger more graphic brushwork in Danny's pieces!!
