Cheers for the Cherry Blossoms

Surrounded by a cloud of pink, we savored the expanse of cherry blossoms, in full bloom in Washington, DC.

And, marveled at the impressive architecture that makes up our capitol.
I know our founding fathers would have been proud at how beautiful the city looks today. Don't you agree?

Wow!!! such stunning images. Here in Spain (Seville) we are being overtaken with the gorgeous smell of the orange blossom from the orange trees; it's truly breathtaking :-)

Beautiful pics Elizabeth especially with that haze in the sky. DC is its prettiest in the spring...such a beautiful and meticulous city. Loved any excuse to visit my son in college there!! Great city, great restaurants, culture, it has it all. Hope you had fun.
